Janet Jackson might have had many achievements and milestones in her singing career, but what inspires us most was her amazing loss of 60 pounds in just 4 months.
Sounds bit like a dream, isn’t it? Most of us may shrug it off saying that she is wealthy enough to hire the a personal trainer and a personal chef that helped her through. But leaving aside, these factors.
Janet Jackson’s weight loss was a result of 4 months of rigorous systematic exercise and a controlled diet. Apart from this she had one magic tool that made her lose weight – Motivation. She had the motivation to fight it out and stick to her diet no matter how hungry she felt and stick to her exercise program no matter how difficult it was.
Even if you don’t have as much money Janet had and her personal chef and trainer. You can still lose weight. Any one who has motivation can lose weight.
JANET’S DIET
Janet had a balanced diet. Her Nutritionist David Allen made her eat four meals a day. Added together these four meals did not exceed 1500 calories. Janet says, “they were small portions but enough to satisfy your palate and keep you moving.”
She omitted all the junk that she had as a part of her diet. She says, “We cut out processed foods, white sugar and white flour, alcohol, sodas, and she drank about 2-3 liters of Water a day.”
Here’s a sample of her daily diet menu
BREAKFAST
6 Egg Whites
1/3 cup of Oatmeal
LUNCH
4 ounces of Chicken bre0 pounds. An achievement indeed!

Im trying to lose 60 pds in 4 mths i was dieting but i still have a problem overeating at times what should i do im 210 pds i was 230 after i had my last child i lost 20 pds please help me give me some weight lose tips

I lost 20 pounds in 2 months without exercising! I ate my carbs during the day.

I lost 10 pounds in one week by cutting out pop, and other not so good for you snacks and foods. I’m lachtos intolerant so I cant eat many breads and alot of other things- so many food on the shelf contain milk, Geez! I drink soy milk and eat chicken and some seafood- no red meat, and eat homade trailmix for snacks and protien. I also go to the gym 3 times a week- if you dont like killing yourself on a treadmill, try swimming. swimming even just 5 full laps puts your heart rate at 114 – which is very high for burning calories. doing this 3 times a week will get you to lose about 5 to 8 pounds per week. keeping it up after you lose the unwanted poundswill keep you looking great.
