Fried foods are very rich tasty and crispy. Nowadays, almost all food is fried for added taste and flavor. However, fried foods are high in calories and eating fried foods increases the risk of obesity. Hence, avoiding fried foods is important to fight obesity.

Why are Fried Foods Dangerous?
Frying of the foods involves oils which are high in Trans fats and saturated fats. While frying, these foods absorb the oil containing the Trans fats and saturated fats. Thus, eating fried foods builds up your blood cholesterol level, clogs the arteries, and may lead to heart disease and obesity.

During the process of frying, foods are dipped in flour, egg, breadcrumbs, milk etc. and then fried. These ingredients add even more calories to the fried foods. Eating high calorie food is the main cause of obesity.

Frying of foods destroys the health benefits, nutrients present in the food. Lean meat, fish, vegetables and chicken are healthy. However, frying them adds calories and removes any nutritional benefits.

When healthy food is eaten, you would feel full and satisfied. However, fried foods usually do not satisfy your hunger. They increase your craving for food and make you eat more, thus adding up your calories. Several studies have found eating fried foods greatly increases the obesity risk.

Fried foods taste good and many people indulge in eating them without realizing the dangers associated with it. Avoiding fried foods is important to fight obesity. Instead of frying, you can try cooking food by steaming, roasting, baking or grilling to fight obesity and stay healthy.
