Appesat Makes You Eat Less: A new diet pill, Appesat, which is going to hit the stores this week, promises to make people eat less and help overcome  obesity.   The new Appesat diet pill works as an appetite suppressant by helping people feel full and this feeling lasts for 3 to 4 hours. This pill is from the company, Goldshield and is made from extracts of seaweed

How Appesat Works?
When swallowed, the Appesat pill  expands the stomach and stimulates the hunger sensors. The hunger sensors present in the stomach convey a message to the brain that the stomach is full. This suppresses the hunger and the person would be able to control his calorie intake.

The pill stays in the stomach for 3 to 4 hours and suppresses the hunger, before being digested. Taking this pill along with a low-calorie diet can help people in controlling hunger and overcome obesity.

To study the effectiveness of this pill, about 139 overweight and obese people were monitored for 12 weeks. There was an intake of a low-calorie diet – 1200 calories by women and 1400 calories for men. The participants who took 3 capsules of Appesat daily lost 9.4 Kg, while the participants who did not take the pill lost only 5.6 Kg

Taking this pill along with a low-calorie diet can gradually train people to eat less. According to Goldshield, manufacturers of this diet pill, unlike fiber-based appetite suppressants, Appesat stays in the stomach for longer time and helps people in feeling full.
