Tips For Fighting Weight Loss Hunger

For weight loss, exercise and a healthy diet are essential. Most of us may have a hard time when it comes to maintaining a proper diet. A party or a sudden hunger pang can make you binge, followed by feelings of guilt. Hunger is a signal that your body needs food. However, sometimes we feed our body with wrong kind of foods. Other times, we eat not because we are hungry — but because we feel like eating

Some changes in the way we eat can make us fight hunger. By following some of these tips, you would have lesser hunger pangs or would be able to control hunger

Tips for Fighting Weight Loss Hunger:

Here are some ways to fight hunger for better weight loss:

  • Eat small meals throughout the day:

    Instead of having 3 big meals, have 6 smaller meals throughout the day. This will keep you full and prevent you from having sudden hunger pangs. You are less likely to binge if you have 6 meals. Your energy levels would also be up throughout the day

  • Eat more fruits and vegetables:

    Fruits and vegetables are full of fiber. They curb your hunger without adding a number of calories. When you eat fruits and vegetables, you would be able to hold yourself from eating for a longer time. So, make sure you eat fruits and have lots of vegetables in your diet

  • Drink Water:

    Water about 2 liters of water daily is good for health and it also gives you a full feeling. Some people mistake their thirst for hunger when they do not consume enough water. So, if you feel  hungry, grab a bottle of water

  • Go for a walk:

    Studies show that physical activity can temporarily suppresses hunger. So, when hunger cravings strike, try walking for 5 to 10 minutes

  • Sleep: 

    Lack of sleep can make you hungry during the day, according to studies. Make sure you get 7 to 8 hours of sleep daily to control your hunger

  • It is recommended to eat slowly and chew properly to eat in a proper quantity of food. Never skip your meals as it can aggravate your hunger.

Fighting weight loss hunger can be done by having a healthy diet and eating small meals regularly. Added to it, physical activity of 30 minutes daily can also suppress your hunger to a great extent.
