What is a Dance Mat?
Dance Pads are three by three square matrix mats, large enough for a person to stand on. There are smaller square panels built in the bigger square. These panels light up and show the direction and instructions for the dance steps in the game. It plugs into your game console and is made for gaming devices like PS1, PS2, X box etc. This product encourages movement in everyone; both young and old.

How is the Dance Mat used?
The dance pads generally offer three modes of gaming — beginner, game or workout. Next, you choose the song to dance to. Fast and slow songs are available. There are different difficulty levels for each song. Choose an intensity level based on your current abilities.
Workout modes provide a calorie counter. Depending on your weight and the intensity of the workout selected, the calorie counter will show the amount of calories burned.

How does the Dance Mat help in weight loss?

  • One of the biggest reasons why people dislike exercising is because of the monotony associated with it. Doing the same routine everyday at the gym can be boring. The dance pad offers an opportunity to make cardiovascular exercise fun and unique.
  • If you are a music buff, there is a wide selection of songs to get you moving. Following the lighted panels to the tune of your favorite number can be so engrossing and fun. The brain and limb coordination requires a lot of focus. At the same time, increase your cardiovascular endurance and burn calories. Depending on the intensity you choose you can burn as many as 60 calories in as little as 10 minutes.
  • Dance with a partner to make the workout even more enjoyable.
  • Another advantage is that it is handy and portable and can be taken anywhere.
