When two different plate sizes are offered, about 99 % of people with high BMIs take larger plate among the two plates. A larger plate deceits your eye into anticipating that you are eating less food even if it more on your plate. Always choose a smaller plate for a smaller belly.
When we are at buffets, it is a normal tendency to view the entire food. When you watch the food while eating, your mind anticipates having more and more. It is better to break this habit. When you are at home, keep the variety dishes in the fridge or in the pantry, not on the countertops.
This usually happens in Chinese restaurants. While Buffets offer chopsticks, many of the obese opt for forks. It is easier for them to delve in the food.
Most of the obese people intend to clean their plates with nothing left behind. No need to be a member of the clean plate club, just ignore.
Chewing habits of obese are really very bad. They are fast eaters and don’t take a good time in savoring and chewing the food.
Though this is a very simple habit, it raises the risk of obesity very highly.
